I would like to know if it's still possible to trade in our old phone for another one and if yes do we get a discount for the other phone. I currently have a Samsung galaxy s7

Yes it is possible, but you won'T get much. You'd be better of selling the phone on Kijiji, you'd get much more for your buck.
